(More customer reviews)Actually, this cable is junk. I bought it before travelling to Europe for 6 weeks, liking its compactness. A month later, the tubing near the dock connector partially detached and slides freely through the tube - in other words, there's almost no strain relief near the dock connector. By no means have I put unusual wear and tear on the cable - I've been using an Apple-made cable for almost two years and it's still in good shape.
Total piece of crap.
