(More customer reviews)First. Let me say the KDC-MP342U is absolutely astounding. I purchased it at a really good price from Sonicelectronix.com for $104 and the price included the harness! That being said you cannot use it with a USB device unless you have this USB control. And good luck finding the control! It was being sold on e-bay for $45! I even contacted Kenwood and received no response as to where I could purchase it. But this company sells it for $17. And I received it within 2 days! Why use a USB device? CDs cannot take the heat. And on a really hot day the CD will produce distorted sounds like your speaker fibers are torn. Also if you drive over bumpy terrain how many times do you plan to make copies on the CDs on your computer before another one scrathes and it is time to toss it out again and make another? And then there is the obvious of not having to reach for another CD while you are driving.
