P002 : Universal USB Car Charger Adapter Review

P002 : Universal USB Car Charger Adapter

Two problems keep me from rating this very inexpensive car USB charger higher:
1. The charger that I received doesn't appear to be the same charger pictured on the product description. (eg., completely different molded body, glass tube fuse instead of plastic-encased fuse.)
2. It won't charge my iPhone properly. After some testing with a multimeter, it seems the output is close to 6 VDC, despite being labeled as 5 VDC +/- 5%, which would be a max. voltage of 5.25 VDC.Overall, it's not worthless. Other less sensitive USB-powered products may be able to be charged by this.

Car Charger+FM Radio Adapter Transmitter for IPOD Touch Review

Car Charger+FM Radio Adapter Transmitter for IPOD Touch

There are a lot of FM transmitters out there to sift through and finding the right one can be a real chore. I'm sorry that I gave this FM transmitter a shot because it fails in every way that you would want one to succeed.
The only pro this transmitter has is the price. It's cheap. Period.
Finding a clean station to broadcast on is a hassle when you are driving. When you do find a station that does come in "clear" there is still faint white noise in the background that just won't go away. Also, the sound quality is just terrible to put it plainly. Everytime there is a "S" that is spoken/sung or high pitched cymbals it completely distorts it.
Then there is the charging portion of this device. The lighter outlets in my vehicle have worked fine with my radar detector, my gps, my phone, etc. This device I had to basically jam in the lighter outlet and only then it would charge for a given amount of time before it jarred loose due to minor bumps.
Finally, if you have a case on your iPod this device will not fit completely.
Morel of the story is: Learn from my mistake and start to look elsewhere because this is definitely not the FM transmitter you want.

FM RADIO TRANSMITTER CAR KIT For Apple iPod / iPhone / iTouch / Nano / iPad Review

I ordered this thing close to a year ago and I happen to really like it. Works better when I take the antenna off of my car, I would have to say thats the only annoying thing because when I want to listen to the radio I almost never feel like putting the darn thing back on. Other than that I really like the adapter.

NEW Car Cassette Tape Adapter for Apple iPod Touch Mp3 Review

NEW Car Cassette Tape Adapter for Apple iPod Touch Mp3

I bought one of these about a month and a half ago. At first, it worked just fine. I would pop it right in, connect, and there my music was. I had read some reviews about the old fashioned tape sound in the background, but really it will only bother you if you turn your music up WAY LOUD like in a club or something. If you keep it at a moderate level, that never even crosses your mind. However, LATELY, I've been having some annoying problems with it. My car keeps telling me there is some kind of reel error and pops the tape out. I take very good care of this item so I know it's a problem with IT, and not my car. I kind of had a feeling this old kind of technology would start to do this. It's your choice if you want to take the chance with it. You might have better results. As for me, I'm switching to an FM radio adapter!
