(More customer reviews)I don't know why products like this are so hard to find. I searched for quite a while for a simple way to connect my iPod to my car stereo's aux in via the dock connector/line out, and finally settled on this one. It does the trick, and unlike others I've owned, it has a dock connector that's just as slim as the original Apple USB dock connector. That means it's much easier to connect to your iPod when it's in a case. For that reason, I prefer it to the retractable Zip Linq cable I had, which had a thick dock connector and which also happened to break on me after a few months' use.
I can't claim to be an audiophile, but the sound quality is flawless to my ears, and *much* better than I've ever gotten out of a cassette adapter or FM transmitter. I've had the cable for about 3 months, and I'm perfectly satisfied. About the only recommendation I'd make to the manufacturer is to offer the cable in a shorter length.
