(More customer reviews)CONFIRMED... WILL NOT WORK WITH iPod Touch and OS/Firmware 3.0 DO NOT BUY.
Connected to TV, video played for about 5 seconds (And Looked GREAT!). Then a popup message on the Touch "this accessory not supported". No more video on the TV. Video starts to play on Touch, audio continues on the TV.
My iPod Touch 2nd Gen and 0S 3.0 do not appear to play well with this cable.
Though, looked great for the 5 seconds it took the device to decide.
UPDATE:
Clearly this product is will not work with OS/Firmware 3.0 Apples seems to have blocked this accessory. From what I can find, Apple uses a "chip" to verify acceptable accessories (ie theirs or licensed vendors). Not sure if this is completely true. Seems the best solution is to buy Apple brand at 4x the price of this.
