(More customer reviews)I bought this cable for use with my I phone 3 G, dock station, and Otter Box. As another review stated, it will not work with the otter box as is. I contacted CableJive and they made no mention of working on a fix for this, but suggested that some users were able to file the cable down to fit into the otterbox. I did so using a hand file and it works great. Its important to take off a little bit at a time to narrow the plastic around the plug that goes to the phone and round the corners to go into the otterbox. Just remember that its on you if you screw it up. The sound quality is just as good as if my phone was plugged directly in to the dock station, and all functions work such as charging etc.
