Pro = Very inexpensive
Con = Stoped retracting after a couple of weeks. I am very gentle with my gadgets. Cable still syncs and charges, just doesn't retract anymore.

Macally HifiTune Premium Sound Hands-Free Headset for iPhone and iPhone 3G Review

Macally HifiTune Premium Sound Hands-Free Headset for iPhone and iPhone 3G
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I wanted headphones with a microphone to use with my iPhone and the ones that come in the package, for lack of a better word, suck. I hesitated for a long time because it seems that any upgraded phones with a mic were in-ear models. I don't know about the rest of the world, but I've always hated jamming those rubber tips inside my ear canal. After 10 minutes or so, the phones would start to itch and I would be ready to yank them out and toss them across the room. Plus, if I didn't get them in just right, the sound would be uneven and they would pop out every time I turned my head.
Well, no more. These are by far the most comfortable in-ear phones I've ever owned. Plus, it's nearly impossible for these things to pop out unexpectedly. They also sound very, very good. Maybe not as good as ones twice the price, but I can still pick up subtle sounds I hadn't heard before with the factory phones. Plus, although the bass is enhanced, it's not at all overbearing or distorted. The mic and on/off button work exactly as they should. The included carrying case is sort of no-frills (cheaply made), but it serves its purpose.
The only reason I didn't give these a 5-star rating is because of the cord. Although the fabric covering adds a touch of class, the cord is a tad long and is oddly proportioned with excess cable on the left side which hangs awkwardly. However, it's not a big enough deal to not recommend these phones. The mic and on/off button are conveniently positioned and callers don't have any trouble hearing me at all. It seemed as if I nearly had to yell into the Apple headphone mic.
In all, the Macally hifitunes are good for the price if you're looking for a comfortable pair of in-ear headphones that will actually stay in your ears.

This was just what I needed to get my Sanza clip to play in my car. I just plugged it in to the aux and I did have to turn my clip way up but it sounds good and works great. Super easy.

Kenwood KCA-iP300V iPod Video Direct Cable Review

Kenwood KCA-iP300V iPod Video Direct Cable
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Rated at 3 stars because of Apple, not Kenwood.
New ipod classics and 3rd gen nano's have new video encryption that requires a "chipped" cable to work properly for video output. So where this cable is made to be all-in-one plug and play, it won't work for the newest ipods.
Not Kenwoods fault, and they might make some firmware updates on some radios to fix this. But for now it is broken and requires said firmware fix or possibly a new cable model.
Presumably fine for older ipods, but new users should be aware of the video problems.
My personal case involves a 3rd gen nano and a dnx7100 head unit. Audio is buggy (freezing w/no response - requiring a reset of the nano) and video gives instant freeze.

You will need a USB cable that is rated at 2.1 amps to charge a IPAD. This USB cable is not rated for iPad charging and cable will die a quick death. :)

Message comes up on my new Iphone 3GS "charger not supported". Not sure if I have the wrong tip, but it said it suppors the iphone on the package. I was so confident I threw away the packaging as soon as I opened it. Now a few days later I decided to check it before leaving on a trip and no luck.

Importer520 Composite AV & USB Cable for iPod/iPhone Review

Importer520 Composite AV and USB Cable for iPod/iPhone

I was a little skeptical about buying this product when I read all the problems everyone seems to be having with other products, but I figured I could return it. I gave it a try, and it really does works with my iPhone 3g (firmware 3.1.2). I've used it with a standard TV and a HDTV, looks great on both. I also tried it with my iPod Touch (firmware 2.2.1) and it works with it as well. I highly recommend this item. I'm also pleased with the service, I received this item within 5 days of ordering.

Alpine KCE-400BT - Car audio Bluetooth adapter Review

Alpine KCE-400BT - Car audio Bluetooth adapter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I read about how the old KCE-350BT was plagued with persistent connection issues and was to be avoided. Regardless, I can happily say that the the KCE-400BT has no such issues.
I was a bit weary getting this unit for a few reasons, one being the connection worries mentioned above. More so though is the fact that my car is loud. I installed this in my modded BMW M3-- cabin noise is up there and with the window down and my foot on the throttle it's quite loud. Not long ago I was driving on surface streets with the window all the way down when I got a call; I answered it keeping the window down and intentionally hit the throttle fairly hard a few times during the conversation to see how it fared. The results were very impressive, I could hear and be heard perfectly fine throughout the call.
My only real issue with it is that when I want to place a call (I have an iPhone) I can't pick which number to dial when choosing the contact to call (my contacts have multiple numbers), it just uses the first number stored. I don't know if that's a failing of this device or my iDA-X303 head unit, but it certainly limits its usability. This doesn't really bother me though since I hate talking on my phone while driving, I got the unit to be able to answer calls I need to while on the road without having to go digging for my phone every time.
